COURSE CONTENT AND STRATEGIES:
The key concept of the course is communication. We use task-based, collaborative and humanistic approaches to create a positive learning environment where the focus is on practical classroom activities. This covers all aspects of English language skills – speaking, listening, reading, writing and mediation, as well as pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar activities. Class dynamics include individual, pair and group work, discussions, debates, roleplays, presentations, written tasks and listening exercises. Through a friendly, supportive atmosphere, participants are encouraged to share their own ideas and experiences while sharing with other international students. Participants receive weekly feedback based on both self-evaluation and personal tutorials with the teachers, where objectives are reviewed, progress is discussed and homework is set, if necessary. Areas for improvement are addressed through revision sessions and progress tests.
Throughout the course, participants are given the opportunity to consider alternative practices, reflect on their own practices and try out a variety of classroom activities. Included is a focus on how to use technology in the classroom and exploring the use of multimedia for teaching purposes. During the course, participants will be expected to come up with their own Personal Development Action Plan, and select activities which they would like to try out in their own class.

Dresden (Niemcy)Doskonały kurs do nauki języka polskiego. Jestem zaskoczony tak dużym bogactwem dostępnych ćwiczeń do każdego z poruszanych w kursie tematów. Dzięki temu nawet trudne tematy stają się jasne i moje umiejętności rozumienia i używania polskiego są na coraz wyższym poziomie.
